It's time to live our lives in accordance with our unique talents, skills, and passion, and connect our actions with a sense of purpose, duty or mission in life.

“Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.” ~ Viktor E. Frankl

Two of my favorite teachers are Deepak Chopra and Viktor Frankl.

Deepak teaches us about the ancient science of Ayurveda, giving us these teachings that shed light on who we are as energetic beings and then learning simple ways to balance, heal and inspire us to live our highest purpose.

Viktor Frankl, was a concentration camp survivor and then a global leader in positive psychology and author of many books. A must-read is his book: "Man's Search for Meaning."  I love his vision of America, that we are a country of free men and women, as exemplified by the Statue of Liberty, but that we are a troubled nation because we do not have a steady grasp on the need to be balanced by also being Responsible. He envisions that we position a 'statue of Responsibility' on the West Coast to balance the statue of Liberty on the East Coast.  In this way, we are reminded that each one of us is solely responsible to how we choose to respond to what life throws our way.  We can not control what happens to us, but we have the ultimate freedom to choose how we respond to life.
